Pride & Prejudice Part III - AmeriKKKa & Its Thirst For the Blood of a Melanated People (posted on Sep 09, 2014 at 18:47, filed in Uncategorized)

Then the Lord said, "Why have you done this terrible thing? Your brother's blood is crying out to me from the ground, like a voice calling for revenge. Genesis 4:10

They will eat their own dung. These were the words echoing in my head for three consecutive days and even though I had overstanding of what they meant, I knew not who they were meant for. It was not until I spoke with my mother and told her of this strange phenomenon that I was able to make any sense of it and so I will share it with you all.

Living Above the Fray (posted on Aug 02, 2014 at 14:03, filed in Uncategorized)

Long time no blogging huh? Well loves I have been on quite a journey these last few months and it has been a worldwind and that's putting it lightly. I've missed writing and sharing my thoughts but it all things sometimes we require "breaks" or alone time to become more in tune with ourselves, our thoughts, our dreams, our goals.

In this time alone and reflecting I have realized in acquiring and seeking more knowledge of self and all matters of life that I know nothing. This knowing of nothing makes me long to know more of what I once thought I knew that I now know I knew not. I am fully embracing this place, this feeling, this time in my life and despite the heartaches, the pains, the disappointments, the distractions, I'

Just think that this race of Black men, today our slave and the object of our scorn, is the very race to which we owe our arts, sciences, and even the use of speech! Just imagine, finally, that it is in the midst of people who call themselves the greatest friends of liberty and humanity that one has approved the most barbarous slavery, and questioned whether Black men have the same kind of intelligence as whites!

A people without the knowledge of their past history, origin and culture is like a tree without roots.

Marie's Quote of the Month (posted on Aug 01, 2014 at 14:24, filed in My Favorite Quotes)

"It is wonderful how even the casualties of life seem to bow to a spirit that will not bow to them, and yield to subserve a design which they may, in their first apparent tendency, threaten to frustrate. When a firm, decisive spirit is recognized, it is curious to see how the space clears around a man and leaves him room and freedom."
John Foster

Beware of false knowledge; it is more dangerous than ignorance.

I'm grateful to intelligent people. That doesn't mean educated. That doesn't mean intellectual. I mean really intelligent. What black old people used to call 'mother wit' means intelligence that you had in your mother's womb. That's what you rely on. You know what's right to do.

Do not feel discouraged, or sit down and lament because you are misplaced. No man was ever so misplaced but that he could not find the right place, and no man ever became so involved in the wrong business but that he could get into the right business.

Prostitution: A Matter of Morals in an Immoral Society (posted on Apr 11, 2014 at 12:09, filed in C'est la vie)

Prostitution, labeled as the world's oldest profession though considered one at the lowest of the totem pole in the likes of careers, yet it remains as an industry that has proven to stand the test of time despite the financial collapses of the economies throughout the history of the ages. The industry of prostitution has become a means to an end for many women looking to survive in this uncertain world. Creating a financial freedom that perhaps was never known to them for providing a service that they can expect to be compensated accordingly versus walking away penniless, powerless, with unreciprocated needs and desires that differ totally from the man or me

Are You Infected with an STD? (Spiritually Transmitted Disease) (posted on Aug 27, 2014 at 18:57, filed in Spirituality & Sexuality)

When was the last time you were tested for a spiritual transmitted disease? What are the symptoms of being infected spiritually? What is the cure if any? How long is the incubation period? Is this spiritual transference deadly? What effects does this transmission have on my mind, soul and body? How did I become infected spiritually?

Sexual energy is a very powerful force and the sharing of this energy with others can be detrimental to your spiritual man just as it is to your physical man.
